Robyn Karro will have a structured childrens' service for ages 2 – 7, Sarah Riesenberg will take children aged 8-10 and Shmuel children aged 11 onwards. These services will be structured, mini services leading into 2 groups separating to participate in a formal structured activity program. Shmuel and Sarah will hold similar programmes. Chanukah Lighting Ceremony and an acknowledgement of Rabbi Y D Groner celebrating 45 years of Community Service to Victoria on his 80th birthday at State Parliament (see attached flyer). Birthday Club is having the special birthday celebrations on Shabbos morning for all Children celebrating their Birthdays during Cheshvan & Kislev. New Beginnings guest speaker: Maureen Schulsinger from Jewish Care. You are invited to attend a card evening (see attached flyer). Come and Dance with the Torah at the Hakofot on Simchat Torah Led by The Central Shule Choir after Maariv 6:30pm (see attached flyer). Simchat Torah Children's Program 6:15pm. Refreshments. Ice-skating night for children aged 12-16 on the 14th August from Shule office (see attached flyer). New Beginnings are having a musical morning at Central Shule. Youth Shiur. The Kabbalah of Man - a new shuir starting at Central based on the first 9 chapters of the Kabbalistic treatise the Tanya. From this shuir you will gain an understanding of: what is your Soul, why you experience conflict in your life and how you can achieve a more spiritually and more meaningful life. Tanya Shiur. New Beginning Friendship Group are having their get together at 4 Maple Street with a guest speaker. Official Opening of Central Shule (see attached flyer 2055KB). Breakfast at Kimberley Gardens. Guest Speaker – Rabbi Harris – Chief Rabbi of South Africa. (see attached flyer). Shavous Childrens Programme - reading of Ten Commandments, Childrens Fruit basket parade, and Ice cream party. For children under 12 at 9:30am Purim at Galactic Circus, Crown Complex for children 12-16yrs 12:30pm Megillah reading Chabad House Glen Eira 257 Hawthorn Rd 1.00pm leave from CGE with David Shure to Galactic Circus Massive Children's Purim Carnival For Children of all ages St Kilda Town Hall Cnr Carlise St & St Kilda Rd 1:00pm-3:30pm. Eli Gutnick will be addressing a special programme for fathers and sons of Barmitzvah Boys at their Barmitzvah enrichment classes on how to make teffillin and write a Torah. All are welcome. The "Musical Celebration of Life" concert at the Robert Blackwood Hall. Seats still available through the Shule office, $30ea. There will be a meeting at Frank Greenstein's house, 1/50 Bundeera Rd, Caulfield South regarding the JNF Memorable Moments Mission to Lithuania, Poland & Israel on 29th June.
